iPad Will Soon Get Its Own Firefox Called Mozilla Junior

Over the years, ever since its release, Mozilla Firefox has won the hearts and minds of millions of users and continues to command a very strong influence in the browser industry. The team has worked diligently to take its browser to as many platforms as possible. Now the good news for iPad users is that they may be getting a special version of Firefox on their tablets soon.

This special version is being called ‘Mozilla Junior.’  Essentially, it is a very easy-to-use and user-friendly browser. The Firefox team has optimized the browser so that it goes great with the touchscreen tablet and doesn’t contain any clutter of tabs or address bars.

To replace all this clutter, Mozilla Junior will feature special touch controls. Most of these controls will be available in the form of tiny buttons which are there on the edges of the page. These buttons can then be used to navigate through a site, go back to a page and accomplish other tasks.

On its website, the Mozilla team wrote, “What are we doing to make sure that the ones working to disrupt Mozilla’s products is Mozilla itself, instead of our competitors? How do we focus on innovations in areas where Mozilla can be the first, the best or the only organization that can deliver outstanding products?”

We are really looking forward to this new version of Firefox which is officially being described as, “an iPad browser that makes browsing more fun, more ergonomic and re-thinks browser user experience from the ground up.”
