Kouziro Introduces 21.5-inch Android Tablet In Japan, It’s Massive!

Earlier, we have seen that Asus Transformer AiO dual boot system with 18.4-inch display. Recently, Japanese-based electronic manufacturer Kouziro has introduced a gigantic 21.5-inch full HD display Android tablet. Its 21.5-inch display makes it one of the biggest Android devices around. The tablet is officially known as FT103 and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on a dual-core TI OMAP 4429 processor. The display resolution is 1920 x 1080 with a fairly low pixel density of 102ppi where the Google Nexus 7 clocks in at 216ppi.

The FT103 is a battery less tablet where the adapter is its sole source of power. Can you guess the whale weight of this tablet? It’s 11 pounds with including the AC adapter. The tablet is also equipped with an integrated kickstand. It has a limitation in terms of storage. You can not expand its storage capacity beyond 8GB. The tablet also has one HDMI port, two USB ports, one ethernet port and one front facing camera. The FT103 will be shipped from late July in Japan for $438 (¥34,800).

a giant whale of a Tablet without even a MicroSD slot???

I thought it was retarded of Google to not include a MicroSD card slot into its little Nexus Tablet… That was the sole reason I won’t be ordering one.

Now these guys expect to sell these with an 8GB limit?

They must be out of their minds.

The cost of a MicroSD slot is about, $0.89
The cost of not having one is scores of potential customers lost.
