Microsoft showcased on Tuesday a tablet running first generation Windows 8 operating system at Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference presentation. At the event company showcased the operating system which looks like Microsoft’s current mobile operating system, Windows Phone 7.
However, there is no clue whether the Windows Phone 7 will ever be released for tablets. BGR reports
Windows Phone 7 itself will never find its way to a tablet, however, as Windows Phone boss Andy Lees stated during the show that a tablet should be able to do everything a PC can do.
The good thing about this operating system is that it is not only built for tablets but desktops as well. Microsoft has also posted some images of the mystery tablet running their upcoming OS. What do you think about this project undertaken by Microsoft? Will they ever be able to complete against Apple and other Android tablets which are available in the market.
