Samsung Unveils 7-Inch Galaxy Tab 3, Arriving In May

Around a year passed since South Korean tech giant Samsung launched Galaxy Tab 2. Since then people have been waiting for the next Galaxy tablet. The good news is yesterday Samsung announced Galaxy Tab 3. The tablet has many attractive features and Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy Tab 3 will be released by the end of the summer.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 weighs 306g and measures 111.1 mm x 188.0 mm x 9.9 mm. The tablet runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and features a 7-inch WSVGA TFT display providing a resolution of 1024 x 600 and 169 ppi, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, and 8GB or 16GB storage. The tablet has a 3 mega-pixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, a microSD card to expand storage up to 64GB and a substantially large 4,000mAh battery. Added to these, Galaxy Tab 3 has WiFi a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth® 3.0 and USB 2.0.

Samsung has mentioned that the Wi-Fi version will launch “globally” in May, while a 3G model through which users will be able to make calls will follow in June. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t revealed anything about pricing.
