Viliv Launches Smallest Windows Tablet

At CES 2011, the Korean company, Yukyung Technologies and its brand, Viliv, is squeezing Windows 7 into the smallest slate tablet at the show thus far.The Android tablets come in 7 and 10 inch sizes, and are labeled the Viliv Android Tablet X7 and X10, respectively.

Each runs at 1024 x 600 resolution on a 1GHz Samsung Cortex A8 processor, has a capacitive touchscreen and WiFi b/g/n. There’s also optional 3G HSPA or WiMAX or EVDO wireless conenctivity, Bluetooth and GPS, plus a rear 3-megapixel camera and a front 1.3-megapixel webcam.

Viliv will offer optional features including 3G and 4G mobile broadband. They each come standard with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and front and rear-facing cameras.

Viliv hasn’t confirmed whether the slates will run Froyo or Honeycomb when they launch, though given rumors about Honeycomb’s hardware requirements they may be forced to use the older OS. No pricing, but the X7 will arrive in March 2011 and the X10 in April 2011.
