Often, a user may need to format a hard disk to FAT32. However, Windows does not offer the ability to format a drive larger than 32GB in FAT32; the only available choices are NTFS or ExFAT. To achieve our goal and format hard drive in FAT32 under Windows 7 we will use free software that will format your disk to FAT32 easily and in this tutorial I will show you how.
This process is quite simple and you will be ready to format your HDD to FAT32 in a minute, simply follow steps below
Step 1: First download the software Fat32Formatter.
Step 2: Unpack the archive and run the program. Program does not require any installation, and right after you unpack it its ready for use
Step 3: Next, from dropdown menu select your hard drive, choose the volume size (Size (MB)), indicate whether you want a volume (Volume Label), check the Quick Format and click Start.
Formatting starts and then, seconds later, your hard drive is formatted into FAT32.
