[Tutorial] How To Move Application To Memory Card On Android

You are starting to run out of space on Android internal memory and you looking for solution to free some space? You can easily reclaim disk space by moving large applications on the memory card while keeping all your settings/files and in this tutorial I will show you how to do that.


To get started follow steps below:

Step 1: Tap the Menu button and then tap Settings.

Step 2: Scroll down the Settings menu and tap on Applications section.

Step 3: Tap On SD card tab.

Step 4: The list of applications located on the memory card is displayed. When the box is not checked the application is located on the internal storage. Thus tap on the application which you want to move to your SD card.

Step 5: Tap Move SD card button.

Step 6: The application is then moved to the memory card. Note that some data may remain on the telephone (Applications).

Step 7: The moved application appears in the list of applications located on the memory card.
