[Tutorial] How To Quickly Clean Printer Head In Windows

After some time, the heads of your printer may become dirty and cause black streaks or spots on your print. The drivers for your printer typically include tools for cleaning and in this tutorial I will show you how to access them and setup printer head cleaning.


To get started follow steps below:

Step 1: Click Start menu and Devices and Printers.

Step 2: With the right mouse button click on the icon for your printer and from context menu click Printer proprieties.

Step 3: Under General tab click on Preferences button.

Step 4: In new window choose Features tab.

Step 5: Then in bottom right corner of Features tab click on Printer Services button.

Step 6: Choose Device Services tab and then click Clean the Printheads button.

The cleaning process will begin. Wait for few minutes until its finished and then print a test page and you will notices that black streaks or spots on your print are gone now.
