Conceal Your Facebook Addiction at Work With HardlyWork.in

I was watching my local Cable news last night and I saw an interesting segment about a local computer developer that created a great little website for those people that keep their Facebook page closed, especially at work.  HardlyWork.in compiles your Facebook stream into an exact replica of a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet page.

20-year-old Bay Gross, a Yale student who is majoring in computer sciences created this handy website in mere 15 hours, this past holiday weekend.  The site is really starting to become buzz-worthy with over 150,000+ hits in only a few days.

HardlyWork.in is pretty straightforward.  If you at stuck in your cubicle at work and your boss is breathing down your neck, a simple click of the button and a one-time authorization, your Facebook page becomes a neatly ordered spreadsheet, just like the one you are supposed to be working on.

With Facebook’s surging popularity a lot of people find that they cant keep away from checking Facebook stream.  Today’s white collar workforce is younger and has grown up in the age of social media, so find it really hard to stay away from sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare.

Now I have to be responsible and say that I don’t condone slacking off at work, and it’s probably not the most productive way to spend your time.  But if you cant wait till closing bell to ring, HardlyWork.in might just be what you need to make it through the day without getting in trouble with your supervisor.
