Little Girl Writes Google A Cute Letter Requesting To Give Her Dad A Day Off!

We all know that people who work at Google are very much industrious and passionate to their work. But due to this extreme business in work, sometimes they get detached from their family members and most of the time, children get deprived of getting sufficient time from their parents. And something like this has happened to a little girl. She, finding no other way, wrote Google a cute letter, requesting to give her daddy a single ‘day off’ and interestingly Google gave that daddy a vacation of one week!

Letter Of A Little Girl To Google

The girl’s name is Katie. Her daddy works in Google and he gets one day off a week. But still on that very day off, Katie’s daddy was rarely around her. So she finally wrote a letter to Google and requested the authority to give hes father a special day off on his birthday. Here’s the letter that Katie wrote to Google:

Dear google worker. Can you please make sure when daddy goes to work, he gets one day off. Like he can get a day off on wednesday. Because daddy ONLY gets a day off on saturday.
From Katie
PS. It is daddy’s birthday!
PPS. It is summer, you know

After reading the cute letter, Daniel Shiplacoff, a senior design manager at Google was really impressed and he couldn’t resist himself from replying to Katie’s letter. Shiplacoff replied in this way:

Dear Katie,
Thank you for your thoughtful note and request.
Your father has been hard at work designing many beautiful and delightful things for Google and millions of people across the globe.
On the occasion of his Birthday, and recognizing the importance of taking some Wednesdays off during the summer, we are giving the whole first week of July as vacation time.
Enjoy!

Response Of A Letter By Google

If you are thinking how Katie’s letter was delivered, then we can just say that it’s a ‘mystery’ (even we don’t know). On the other hand, a Google spokesperson has confirmed that the exchange was genuine.
