Desktop Live Streaming App Released By Time Warner Cable

TV applications and TV streaming app have been very actively being pushed into the market. With so many companies working on the prospects of a futuristic TV, everyone knows that it may well be the next big thing to cash upon. Time Warner Cable has been very active in rolling out support for it’s TV streaming across multiple platforms. The latest update is that TWC has released it’s live streaming app for desktops. You can view TV through this app on Chrome browsers. This app can be utilized both on PCs and Macs. 


The app can also be used to stream live TV on other browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari. All you have to do is install Silverlight on your browser and you’re all set to start viewing live TV.

You can also explore the cable guide, right on your computer, with the help of this app. When you are using it on your PC, you can access some channels if you’re on the home network. Moreover, you can also use the app to change channels on the set-top box. The app can also be used to manage DVR recordings.

With his app, TWC has covered the live streaming service for iPhone, iPad and desktop PCs. What remains are the Android tablets and smartphone devices who haven’t yet received a similar app support from TWC so far.
