Netflix Ice Cream Sandwich Version And Facebook Connect Hands-on at MWC Booth

For all the users out there frustrated that they can not use Netflix on their Ice Cream Sandwich devices, soak no more! The Netflix official update for the newest Android version has arrived in the Android Market, complete with bug fixes and ICS support. That’s not something new but we saw it in action at MWC.

“Helping to expand the number of the devices that support streaming from Netflix is a major part of my job. Device expansion is also a key part of the company strategy. I’m glad to say that all phones and tablets that support Android 4.0 will run the new Netflix application”, said Roma De on the official blog.

Netflix experienced major problems while running on Galaxy Nexus. It did not seem to adapt to the 1280 X 720 p screen resolution. All seems to be resolved now however. Facebook on the other hand is perfecting its own Netflix app for Android and has recently added a new set of very interesting features in order to allow easier access and navigation through the app. Users can now reach their groups, apps, pages or setting by pressing only once. No need to open countless menus and click endlessly.

The new redesigned app also has a focus on discoveries. It will help you browse your friends and subscribers faster, search your app list and pages in just a matter of seconds. You also get a brand new photo experience. See tags on picture and if you like zoom in. The notifications have been redesigned as well and they are also faster, working in real-time. You can also get access to your mobile timeline and play countless games.
