Google Enhanced Chrome’s Security To Stop Installing Malware Unknowingly

Google, which is till now the most popular and best search engine to people, announced last Wednesday that it has added new measures to protect Google Chrome users from being targeted by malicious extensions. The company mentioned that people will be able to see “Safe Browsing” malicious download warnings “within a week.”

We know that these potential threats try to bypass the browser’s silent installation blockers by manipulating its management settings. Once installed, the malicious software is enabled by default, it can’t be removed or disabled from Chrome.

But Google has mentioned that the “new measures” it has added to Google Chrome browser will identify software that violates Chrome’s standard mechanisms for deploying extensions, flagging such binaries as malware. Chrome users will be able to get a following warning “within a week” when they will attempt to install an identified threat.
