Space Shuttle Enterprise On A Piggyback Ride

NASA’s space shuttle Enterprise took a spectacular tour on the journey to its new home – Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum. It flew over New York (NY) city docked on a aircraft carrier. People of NY snapped some close shots of it. Enterprise landed on its temporary home, John F. Kennedy Airport.


Nasa’s space shuttle Enterprise has flown over New York. Its had a trip over Manhattan’s most famous landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum on Manhattan’s west side before landing at Kennedy Airport.

The Enterprise was built in 1976 and that time, its name was Constitution. Later it was renamed as Enterprise. Space Shuttle Enterprise was attached on top of a 747 Boeing. Boeing 747 as well as Enterprise will land at JFK airport finally. For the video click here.
