Spelling Official As ‘Offical’: Third Spelling Mistake By Mitt Romney Within A Week

Mitt Romney is one of the most prominent figures aiming for the Presidential seat in U.S. right now. However, it would seem that Romney is not that good with keeping an impeccable image, something which becomes critically important during U.S. elections. Mr. Romney made a drastic mistake of spelling ‘America’ as ‘Amercia’ recently and now, he’s back with more spelling mistakes.

Of course spelling mistakes like these are not a huge deal and mostly they would be ignored and forgotten. But when it comes to a presidential campaign nominee, people tend to comb through every bit of information coming from such persons. They are like the highlight of the public limelight.

Apparently, Mitt Romney is either not very cognizant of it or tends to take a rather lax attitude towards it. He made a major gaffe when he recently spelled the very nation he is aiming to become the president of, as ‘Amercia.’ That in itself is a rather serious mistake.

But things were not to end there. Browse to Romney’s official page and you will be offered to visit the online store titled ‘Offical gear.’ Again, his social media team doesn’t seem very keen at adding one extra ‘i’ to make it really official. Romney’s campaign also offered yet another treat on Facebook this week.

When asking the viewers to a ‘sneak-pic’ of his campaign’s new TV ad, the ‘sneak’ didn’t really find adequate attention from the copywriters. Mistakes like these are naturally negligible but not so in the case of a person of such importance. And since image is all that matters in an election campaign, Mr. Romney really think should give his spellings a thought since President Obama definitely will be better at that front, being a lawyer by profession.
