Suspected Robbers Arrested From Locked Down California Campus

Yesterday an armed robbery occurred at a pawn shop and jewelry store at Sunnymead Boulevard in Moreno Valley. Police caught three robbers but two escaped. Police started casing chasing them but unfortunately lost them. Police assumed one robber was hiding in Cal State Fullerton, a Southern California college campus and the other was hiding somewhere near the campus. Police locked down the campus and its surrounding are for searching the suspected robbers.


Police Search Cal State Fullerton

Few armed robbers looted a Pawn Shop and Empire Jewelry store in the 24000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard on Wednesday. Police suspected five people involving in this robbery. Police arrested three suspected robbers, but the two escaped. Police started chasing them but near Mihyalo Hall, they lost them. Police were nearly sure that one robber was hiding in Mihyalo Hall at Cal State Fullerton in Fullerton, California and the other was hiding around that area. So police locked down the campus and its surrounding area.

Students were alerted via text message at about 4 p.m. and were told to stay where they were with doors locked. School officials posted on the university’s website, “CSUF students and employees: If you are inside a university building, we remain on lock-down. Shelter in place. If you are outside, evacuate campus immediately.”

However few minutes later S.W.A.T arrived at that place. The S.W.A.T. team divided into two groups. While one team started searching each room of Mihyalo Hall, the other was looking for the other one around that campus area. After seven hours, S.W.A.T. team finally found the suspected robber in a room and arrested him. Few minutes later, the other one also got caught. Here is the video of chasing.
