The niche market of 7-inch tablet had been unexplored until Amazon released Kindle Fire and it took the world by quite a storm, at least for a few weeks after it’s release. It’s overall sales too could be bested only by Apple. This success made all tablet vendors realize that 7-inch tablet market is a lucrative and no less important avenue. So while we had earlier heard that Apple is working on a similar sized tablet, we now have been told by analysts from DisplaySearch that Google is also in the process of developing a 7-inch tablet.
