Intel Atom’s Quad-Core ‘ValleyView’ Details Leaked

Recently, details of Intel’s upcoming Atom SoC (System-on-a-Chip) processor (codenamed ‘ValleyView’) have been leaked on August 15 at Chinese Web site Baidu. According to the leaked document, the company will release one, two, and four cores Atom SoC processors. The clock speed range of the processors are 1.2GHz to 2.4GHz and supports a Generation-7 graphics processing unit (GPU), overall almost seven times faster than current Atom processors.
