Just a few minutes ago, Google announced via Twitter, that the Gingerbread (Android 2.3.3) update is now rolling out to Nexus S and Nexus One users. But be patient as the OTA rollout may take a few weeks to complete.
After the launch of Apple’s subscription based service “The Daily”, Google has also launched it’s subscription service which allows the publishers to charge for content as they like. The service is named as “One Pass”. Google One Pass is geared to kneecap Apple’s App Store subscription service for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Publishers will keep 90 percent of sales, vs. 70 percent from Apple’s service.

Google has released its official Blogger application in the Android Market for Android powered smartphones. This program lets people bang out copy, and take photos with their phones, from directly inside the app–and then either publish their words and images straightaway or save a draft for later. Posts and drafts can be viewed directly in the app or, by way of a quickly accessible menu, in a browser.

Google has updated the stable branch of its Chrome browser to version 9. It is now available for download via the Dev Channel for testers running Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. In addition, Chrome Frame has also been upgraded to version 9.0.570.0.
Google made waves in the Web geek community last month when it announced that it would be discontinuing support for H.264 video in its Chrome Web browser, but now Microsoft has released a plug-in for Google Chrome that will give you H.264 video support even after Google pulls the plug……..
