The Guardian is one of the very few newspapers which have successfully moved from print to digital realm without losing a significant number of readers. The latest proof of this success is that The Guardian’s iPad app has been downloaded more than 500,000 times ever since it’s release in October. On Christmas Day, the app was downloaded a whooping 23,000 times. And now, the newspaper is also planning to add it’s Weekend magazine to the app through an upgrade.
