MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team has confirmed about a new exploit (NCK) which was discovered few hours ago and expected to permanently unlock the iPhone 4 basebands.
Apple already released the much awaited update to iOS 4.3 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. As per i remember, in January, iPhone Dev Team had announced that the unlock for iPhone 4 will be released after iOS 4.3 is released. So if your iPhone is still on unlockable baseband 01.59.00, you can upgrade it to iOS 4.3 using these PwnageTool bundles and then unlock it using the existing version of Ultrans0w.
Some guys has managed to hack Verizon iPhone 4 and work it on CricKet carrier which also runs on CDMA 3G network. They install some third party MMS software after jailbreaking it. The iOS device was able to fully flash on Cricket carrier.
