Xbox 360 Sales Higher Than Play Station 3

The last gaming console release by Microsoft, Xbox 360, has overtaken Play Station 3 and Wii in it’s overall sales. According to experts, Xbox 360’s sales have already crossed the 1.44 million figure which is whooping greater than 1.05 million units sold by Wii and 750,000 Play Station 3 units sold. Moreover, with that revamped look Microsoft is about to introduce on Xbox, there is a great chance that the sales will further be bolstered in the coming days.

Kinect For Xbox 360 Adds Kids Learning Services

Microsoft is pushing forth the concept of playful learning and this innovative concept provides an experience for children to learn while connecting family at the same time. The first three games that will be released are Kinect Sesame Street TV, Kinect Nat Geo TV and Project Columbia and icrosoft is joining forces with Sesame Workshop, National Geographic, and Disney to create a new wave of games for the Kinect. These various family-friendly titles and TV shows are set to rollout sometime next spring………………….

Xbox 720 To Release In 2013

It was only two weeks ago when an Xbox 720 logo was spotted in the film Real Steel, adding more fuel to the speculation that Microsoft may unveil the Xbox 360 successor next year at E3 2012 and it was further teased by some recent LinkedIn profiles of Microsoft employees that vaguely revealed specific positions in relation to next-gen Xbox development. Multiple sources across the industry, from processor chip manufacturers to middleware firms, have told Develop they expect the console to be fully unveiled at E3 2013 and the collection of data points to a 2013 launch for the system across all main regions, though early 2014 remains a possibility.Also there have been various signs that indicate that an Xbox 720 is in the works and Microsoft stating that the Xbox 360 is considered the Xbox 720 to them…………………….

TV Providers Coming To Xbox 360

Microsoft announced that a slew of TV and entertainment content providers — including Bravo, Comcast, HBO GO, Verizon FiOS and Syfy will be rolling out entertainment services to the Xbox starting this holiday season in the more than 20 coutnries and they’ll be providing content through Xbox Live, the online entertainment service for Xbox 360. The providers are: BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and LOVEFiLM in the U.K.; Antena 3, RTVE and Telefonica in Spain; Televisa in Mexico; and Bravo, Comcast’s Xfinity On Demand service, Crackle, EPIX, Syfy, TMZ, The Today Show, UFC, Verizon FiOS and HBO GO in the United States, the new TV and video providers announced today join Xbox’s existing lineup of TV and video entertainment partners already on Xbox 360: AT&T, Netflix and Hulu+ in the U.S., TELUS in Canada, BSkyB in the U.K., Canal+ in France, Vodafone Portugal, VimpelCom in Russia and FOXTEL in Australia.This is exciting news because now your 360 is like a cable box as well, so if you already have service with one of the providers that is teaming up with them then you can enjoy tons of television right from your dashboard…………….
