A 3 Times Bigger Than A Football Field Asteroid Will Fly By Earth Tonight, See Live

Here’s a superb news for them who are interested in watching asteroid flying by Earth. Tonight, a massive asteroid, having the length of three football fields, will fly by Earth.

The asteroid that will fly by Earth tonight is known as 2000 EM26. The asteroid will be hurtling by at about 27,000 miles per hour. It will fly by keeping a distance of 1.6 million miles (2.6 million km), which is equivalent of 8.8 lunar distances from Earth, at 9:00 p.m. EST tonight (2:00 a.m GMT, February 18). Note that, one lunar distance is approximately 238,000 miles.
