Acer has unveiled a new generation-3 tablet for its Iconia B1 line-up. The tablet, priced at a mere $129.99, includes a great design and a slim build, packing 7 inches of display.

Acer hasn't exactly been doing great in the past few years. The company, once a very profitable PC vendor, has been on a downward spiral, reporting quarterly losses and declining sales. Amidst all this chaos, Acer's CEO J.T. Wang has now decided to step down from his position.

Earlier this year during the summer, Acer brought Iconia series tablet W3 with Windows 8 to an 8.1 inch slate for the first time. Although, Acer hasn’t officially introduced the new Iconia W4 tablet yet, but lately it's been spotted in a video.

Google has decided to expand its Chromebook family with new Intel Haswell chips with HP, Toshiba, Acer and Asus. Google had a big Intel Developer Forum conference on Wednesday, where Intel spotlighted several new Chromebooks with along with new hardware from brand new OEM partners, including a few existing partners too.

Acer has announced Liquid S2. It is the first smartphone to have 4K video camera and the company plans to introduce the device at IFA 2013.

Windows Phone 8 is yet to gain a sizable market penetration. Microsoft is heavily relying on Nokia to spread it out, but that’s not helping. Taiwanese brand Acer also feels the same. And, the company admitted this is the fact that is delaying its entry in the Windows Phone 8 market.

Lately at Computex, Acer has announced Aspire S3 Ultrabook along with Intel Haswell Chip, improved battery life, and WiDi.

Although Android already has a very significant and sizable presence in both the smartphone and tablet markets, the platform is also becoming a prominent player in the PC arena. Acer is now about to announce an all-in-one PC that will be priced at a mere $400 and will come packed with a whole plethora of great features.
