In recent years, book-reading has undergone radical changes with the advent of e-readers and e-books. Texas has decided to embrace this transition with open hands. The state will soon have its very own, entirely bookless, public library which will host computers and gadgets for the readers to access e-books. The library is being called 'BiblioTech.'
At least that's the idea behind the new Engineering library, which will have 85% less books than the old library. This is the first step toward the school librarian's vision of a bookless library.
