According to multiple sources, Huawei has taken the place as the second largest smartphone brand. This place was previously held by Apple. Currently, Huawei's Market Share is greater than Apple's. 

Ever since Edward Snowden leaked the confidential information of NSA, the agency has been facing enormous allegations every now and then. A new allegation upon NSA is that the agency has been spying on Chinese tech company Huawei's servers for years.

Huawei has been dishing out Windows Phone handsets and aims to continue this partnership with Microsoft into the future. However, the company believes that dual OS smartphones, running Android and Windows Phone, are a better choice.

Huawei shows a 3G wireless-capable SD card in the CEATEC 2013 exhibition. This SD card does not provide any storage support but you can put a 3G sim card of any operator and use internet keeping you vital USB port free.

In May 2012, Huawei introduced Prism, a cheap Android smartphone for just $19.99 on contract on T-Mobile network. However, lately T-Mobile has posted Prism 2, the successor of Prism on its website.

In the recent past, Huawei has ventured into the mainstream smartphone market, trying to establish a solid user base by launching high-end smartphones. Whether or not these handsets will be a success, only time can tell. For now, Evleaks has spotted a rather mid-end Huawei Ascend G710 smartphone supporting a 5-inch display.

You may know that Alcatel and ZTE have already announced their Firefox OS handsets. Software giant Microsoft and Chinese telecoms giant Huawei are gearing up to spread the Windows Phone widely. Microsoft and Huawei have jointly announced that they are going to bring affordable, low-cost Windows Phone powered devices to capture the African market.
