Panasonic Upgrades ToughBook C1
Panasonic has revamped its Toughbook C1 convertible tablet PC with some major spec upgrades, which enables the device to be 30 percent faster than its predecessor and t will sport a 320GB hard drive for the base model, boasting up to a dozen hours of battery life, 2GB RAM that can be expanded to four times the amount, an Intel Core i5-2520M vPro processor (2.50GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz), and up to 30% faster boot up time compared to its predecessor. Panasonic says you can expect twelve hours from a pair of hot-swappable batteries or six hours with one and it’ll now start at $2,599 instead of $2,499 when the new model rolls out next month…………..
Toshiba Unveils DX1215 All-In-One Desktop
Toshiba intends to further their agenda Stateside with the DX1215 all-in-one PC, where it will share some very visible characteristics with Toshiba’s range of large screen TVs and it will will function as a media hub, sporting a 21.5-inch display at 1080p resolution with touchscreen goodness thrown into the mix. This all-in-one is cheaper too than the 21.5 inch iMac, both have the same Intel Sandy Bridge architecture, but the Toshiba DX1215 all in one can be fitted with Core i5 and i7 and starts at only $930, while the cheapest iMac starts at $1199. The system ships with a wireless mouse and keyboard, will be hitting Best Buy’s stores and website exclusively on July 3rd…………
Apple To Bring New MacBook Air
Apple might release a next-gen MacBook air soon and the company is now producing their new netbook, based on the note posted by Concord Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The Cupertino-based company recently placed an order with its Asian partner manufacturers for at least 380,000 new gen MacBook Airs and are equipped with Intel’s newest Sandy Bridge processors that the current-gen iMacs are using. Kuo also added that the upcoming MacBook Air model will feature the Thunderbolt transfer technology, the same new technology used by the latest model of MacBook Pro and the 2011 iMac generation and Apple is reportedly producing 55% of the 11.6 inch MacBook Air……….
