Skype WiFi is the new Skype Access, comes with iOS app in tow and the rebranded service allows you to bypass crusty web forms at any of the 1 million participating locations by using your Skype account and credits to pay per minute. The app also does not limit how much data you use for uploading or downloading files and it is available to download for free from Apple’s App Store and works on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 4.1 or above……………..

HTC drags on the patent war, files yet another complaint against Apple. The three patents at the heart of the complaint cover not just the iPhone and iPad, but also the company’s computer line in particular WiFi networking features and the combination of PDA and cellphone functionality. It appears that Apple is now putting an LTE 4G-capable iPhone or iPad through the usual carrier testing and rhe proof comes from a .plist hinting at LTE in an internal iOS test build that is allegedly from one of Apple’s major carrier partners. Apple would love to get on board 4G LTE, given that some of their competitors already have 4G LTE capable handsets out in the market already and Apple has come out and said that we will not be seeing LTE iPhones this year………….

10-year-old girl discovers age old flaw in iOS and Android games, she discovered a zero day exploit in iOS and Android games that would allow her to speed time in game thus growing things faster. The 10 year old girl CyFi revealed this exploit at DefCon Kids and this zero day exploit is related to the clock in games which are used to measure the time it takes for a crop to grow, much like farmville. CyFi’s discovery has since been verified by independent security researchers and the exploit has been found to work in versions of games for both Apple and Android gadgets………….
