AT&T Rolls Out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update For LG Optimus G

Earlier we reported that Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has started getting Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update. Now, we found AT&T's LG Optimus G has also started receiving Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) OTA update. Engadget has posted an image where it shows Android 4.1.2 running in an Optimus G on AT&T's network.

LG Says 15 Million Optimus L Series Phones Sold So Far

LG Sells More Than 1 Million Optimus G Smartphones

LG has tried hard over the years to gain a sizable foothold into the smartphone market but it hasn't exactly succeeded. The company has launched a number of high-end smartphones in recent past. MWC 2012 – LG Unveils LG Optimus 4X HD

LG has promised that it would deliver a heavy-duty smartphone device during the Mobile World Congress 2012. And now, it has lived up to its words. During the pre-event booth displays, LG unveiled the LG Optimus 4X HD which is a neat and powerful piece of hardware. It features a 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 chip and a 4.7 IPS inch display which scales a fairly awesome resolution of 1280 x 720. It tools Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will the usual LG skin on top.

World’s First 3D Game Conversion Engine For Smartphones

LG has rather predictably come to the rescue with the 3D Game Converter, an Open GL powered piece of software that allows you to switch 2D applications straight into 3D and the software is set to be included in the first maintenance release for the Optimus 3D, which will be pushed out around October time depending on the carrier. The engine can be used by developers to quickly and easily release 3D versions of their existing 2D games and it will end up providing customers with more content for their 3D-enabled hardware. The Optimus 3D will get the 3D Game Converter via an update scheduled for October and will be on display at IFA in Berlin and also will probably be running some 3D games.............
