LG Optimus

Google's I/O conference 2013 is just at the door, and we're regularly hearing a lot rumors related to new Android devices. One of our well-known friend @evleaks has leaked another image of an unnamed LG smartphone, expected to be the LG Optimus G2.

LG Optimus 4X HD owners in Europe are lucky that the official Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update has been released on the continent. The release is starting from the Czech Republic before being offered to the rest of the region.

Earlier we reported that Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has started getting Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update. Now, we found AT&T's LG Optimus G has also started receiving Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) OTA update. Engadget has posted an image where it shows Android 4.1.2 running in an Optimus G on AT&T's network.

LG is not among the top players in the smartphone arena. However, that does little to diminish the company's spirits, it seems. LG has a knack of regularly rolling out its sales milestones. The latest of such announcements from the company reveals that it has sold 15 million Optimus L series smartphones so far.

LG has officially revealed Optimus G Pro, a 5.5-inch Android Smartphone. LG has not disclosed the detailed specs but a few, like the phone has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and a quad-core CPU.
