Hands-Free Photo Taken By Google Glasses Posted Online By Google Engineer

Google has been touting its Project Glass for quite some time. And to be honest, the project did initially mesmerise a lot of us. Wearing a pair of glasses that can virtually perform a whole lot of functions in real-time is indeed a very novel concept. However, Google employees keep on exploring newer dimensions and uses of the product. Here is one of them.

Sebastian Thrun is a research on Google’s Project Glass. He has been posting different images on his Google+ page, showing how useful Google glasses can be in daily life. And now, he has posted yet another image.

In this new image, Sebastian is holding his son’s hands in his hands and swinging him around. In normal circumstances, you can’t even think of taking a picture at such a moment because you are swinging at a certain speed and both your hands are busy holding the other person.

But with Google glasses, all you have to do is tell the glasses to take a shot. And that is something which can’t be accomplished in any other cameras so far. Hands-free photos like these are indeed quite novel and show an exciting facet of Google glasses. But will this, and other similar features, make it a hot cake once the glasses hit the shelves?
