iCloud Beta Website Confirms iOS 6 Beta Coming Soon, Reveals Plans For Notes And Reminders Web Apps

One of the most important annual Apple events, its WorldWide Developers Conference, is due to happen soon. And it seems that the company has got quite a lot up its sleeve to reveal at the conference. Many have already speculated that Apple may unveil iOS 6 at the conference and now, we have hints from Apple’s own sites to affirm this.

The hints have been found at an iCloud beta website which hasn’t been publicly known until only recently when a developer discovered it. The beta portal includes icons for both Notes as well as Reminders, two key features of iOS which Apple seems to be pushing into the cloud too, as Web apps.

For now, you can not log into the beta portal with your Apple ID which essentially means that Apple hasn’t activated the portal yet and the pre-handed discovery has been unexpected by the company.

What is even more interesting is the fact that by looking into the site’s code, a 9to5mac reader has been able to discern hints about iOS 6 too. In the site’s code is mentioned, “To use beta.icloud.com, first sign in to iCloud with the iOS 6 Beta.” This apparently points to the conclusion that Apple is perhaps gearing up for a newer version of iCloud which is going to work only with iOS 6 users.
