Apple is going to hold an event on October 16. It is being heard that the company may announce new iPad and new iMac. What do you think – is it rumor or true?
Back in September, we had heard the rumors that Apple was planning to launch its new iPads on the 21 October. But now, it seems that Apple has pre-poned the date and rescheduled it on 16 October, thanks to a report from Re/code. According to the publication, Apple is expected to hold an event on the 16th of October where it will launch the iPad.
However unlike the iPhone’s announcement, the iPads’ announcement will be a low-key affair and will most likely be held at the company’s Town Hall Auditorium. The new iPads are rumored to feature Touch ID sensors and could be used to make Apple Pay payments. Besides, it has been rumored that Apple will be taking off the wraps for the iPad Air 2 and the third-generation iPad mini.
Re/code has also mentioned that the event will see Apple announce new iMacs, which according to recent rumors have suggested that it could launch with a whopping 5K display. It is also expected that Apple will announce the release of OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
Lets wait and see what Apple brings on October 16. Don’t forget to check back with us in the next couple of weeks for the details.
