Mark Zuckerberg Is The World’s Most Liked CEO

Glassdoor dishes out CEO approval ratings each year, reflecting what number of employees in a given company or organization approves of the boss of that entity. Quite interestingly, this year’s topper is Mark Zuckerberg, who enjoys the express approval of 99% of Facebook employees.

What is even more interesting in the ratings this year is that Tim Cook is down a few points. Last year, Cook was at the top of the list, being approved in by 97% of Apple employees who found him to be the perfect CEO. However, the support has withered a tiny bit over the course of one year. This year, Cook mustered the approval of 93% of his employees. That plucked him from the top position on the list to the 18th position.

Mark Zuckerberg, on the other hand, seems to be really popular at his company, Facebook. Beating all other CEOs around the globe, Zuckerberg has climbed to the top of the CEO approval ratings, garnering the approval of 99% Facebook employees.

Other notable tech companies that made it to the top 20 list of highest-rated CEOs, include Qualcomm. Qualcomm’s CEO, Paul E. Jacobs landed on the 8th position, with a 95% approval rate. Google’s Larry Page also has a 95% approval rate but stands at the 11th position while Nvidia’s CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang enjoys 94% approval rate, managing to be positioned at the 15th position.

Jeff Bezos also made the top twenty list, getting a 93% approval rate with the support of Amazon employees and securing the 16th position. A number of major tech giants, such as Samsung and Intel, were nowhere to be found in the top-2o list.

If they have calculated Facebook “Like” than I have no doubt Mark Zuckerberg is sure winner! Otherwise its a pretty shocking news to me too. All these we have read how he is struggling in his position and there is a full feature film on him, focusing mainly how awkward he is with people. Mark Zuckerberg is surely improving, but Facebook just became public less then a year ago, and so far not doing well. So, from my point of view he still has a lot to struggle. If Yahoo does well, and Marissa Mayer could stick with it, maybe in future we should see she gain this kind of recognition.

    He’s kind of a creep…
God knows who cooked up the statistic this is based on.

There’s one positive I can think of: Unlike some other creeps, Zuckerberg is not in a position to start world war III.
