T-Mobile And Walmart Upgrade The Family Mobile Plan

The new Family Mobile Plan delivered as a consequence of the partnership between T-Mobile and Walmart comes with good news but also with a catch. The new plan costs $40 for a single line per month and for any additional line customers have tp pay $35. Walmart stores and the official website Walmart.com are the places where customers can request information that is more detailed and ultimately they can agree to subscribe to the service.

The main update relies on the unlimited web access. However, there is a catch: the unlimited data plan doesn’t necessarily include 3G speeds. In order to entice customers to subscribe to the Walmart Family Mobile plan, customers who make the purchase before March 16th will be allowed to consume up to 5 GB of data at 3G speeds.

For customers signing after March 31st will be able to consume just 250 MB at high speeds. In consequence, using “unlimited” to describe the Walmart Family Mobile plan isn’t exactly accurate, as only early adopters will be able to take some advantage of the new T-Mobile and Walmart new strategy to appeal to the customers.

However the two companies describe the data plan as “offering Unlimited Web service, providing full access to Web surfing, data and social media for all lines on the account and is one of the best value options available on any national carrier.”
