Telstra Opens First ‘Androidland’ Store In Melbourne

Australian Giant Mobile and Telephone Operator TELSTRA, has opened Australia’s First Android Store named ‘Androidland‘ in Telstra’s Bourke Street, Melbourne, on Dec 2. Actually this the World’s First Dedicated Android Store in the History of World.

As the store is going to deliver Smartphones and Tablets that run Google’s Android operating system, all in one perfect place, so definitely Androidland is not only a place to shop, but also a place to learn. In fact, Interior designed by Telstra in collaboration with Google and mobile handset makers Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG, Motorola and HTC, Androidland features displays and games which will help shoppers learn about Android phones and tablets.

A number of theme-park-esque touches, an “Interactive Spaceship Zone“, a Huge 24 x 9 metre Window Display will be in this Extra-ordinary store. Moreover, to explore and discover the Android Universe, with on-site ‘Experts’ trained by Google will be there to help shoppers out with any questions they have and walk them through the software and hardware.

The store opens at the Perfect Time to lure in Christmas shoppers and help Boost the profile of the Android platform in the city within a very short time. With the space of 154 square-meter, there’s a Little cache of its Permanency. The store will remain open for a minimum of six months. If the store performs well as expected definitely it is going to stay open even longer.
