Apple’s new MacBook Pro has taken the world aback. It is so powerful and yet elegant and beautiful at the same time that the world is literally hooked up to it. It packs an awesome Retina Display which, on a 15.4″ display, becomes all the more awesome. But just how excellent is a Retina display on a MacBook Pro?
According to Apple, the new Retina display on the MacBook Pro packs a whopping 5 million plus pixels on the 2880 x 1800 screen. With this new display, the visual experience on the notebook has gone many notches higher in terms of quality and clarity.
You can easily see the different when you put MacBook Pro with a Retina display right next to a MacBook Pro of older model. When placed side-to-side and tested for a number of graphics, it becomes very clear that the Retina display MacBook Pro affords a lot of detail, clarity of colors, detail and contrast on its display.
The text, too is a lot more clearer on the new notebook. Naturally, with so many pixels into that display, it is only obvious that everything will look more sharp, clear and vivid on this new display. However, there are some glitches to this ultra-high resolution. Whereas Apple’s Safari works really well in handling this high Retina resolution, Chrome and Firefox are not handling it properly just yet and still need an update from Google and Mozilla respectively.

Retina Display – so good that you wo;t even discern the pixels as if what you are seeing is actually real. It is truly eye-popping.
