Japanese Blog Claims ‘iPhone 5 Entered Production Lines’

A Japanese blog called Macotakara has claimed that the next generation iPhone 5 has finally entered into production lines. The blog cited the listings for iPhone 5 cases on Alibaba.com as proof. You may have a hard time believing that the cases are really meant for iPhone 5. See the listings for yourself.

The Japanese blog also mentions that the back of the upcoming iPhone 5 is made of both glass and aluminum.Where aluminium is not used, the designers have used glass.

This is interesting, considering that a Chinese retailer has already started taking pre-orders for iPhone 5. China’s largest e-commerce site Taobao, a division of Alibaba.com, has already started taking orders for iPhone 5 for as low as 1,000 yuan ($160) advance payment.

However, the official launch date of iPhone 5 is still unknown. But, rumors are finding their ways. A website called Thedroidguy has claimed that the next generation iPhone will be released this fall on August 7.
