A number of TVs featuring 4K display resolution have hit the market in the recent past. In comparison, 4K computer monitors are still rare and Dell has added one to the list by unveiling UltraSharp 32 4K monitor.
4K monitors are priced very high for now, given that they are still a recent entry in the world of displays. Dell’s new Ultrasharp 32 packs a stunning 3840 x 2160 resolution within a 32-inch size. The display comprises of an IZGO IPS panel and supports 176 degrees viewing angle.
Dell has packed a whole plethora of ports to go with this sizable display, including HDMI, DisplayPort, mini DisplayPort, media card reader slot as well as five USB 3.0 ports. The company is pitching the new offering to photographers and other such individuals who may need to view high-resolution images on a large screen.
While the 32-incher is certainly a stunning piece of machinery, it comes with a rather scary price tag. Dell is offering the 4K monitor for $3500 which may appear a lot in itself but the price is in line with other 4K monitor options in the market.
Apart from this launch, rumors have it that Dell also aims to unveil a 24-inch monitor with a 4K display. The said monitor will pack the same 3840 x 2160 resolution in a smaller space, giving it an even crispier screen. There have been no estimates on what the price of this rumored monitor will be, although you can rest assured that it will be only slightly less steep compared to its 32-inch brother.
