Few reports have emerged from Digitimes which says that Apple will be increasing the shipment of iPad 2 in the next quarter. Reports suggests that Apple is planning to ship 12M to 14M iPad 2 in the next quarter, while earlier reports indicated that Apple is shipping 7M-9M units till March.
When the iPad was launched in March, Apple faced hude demand for its tablet and was unable to meet the demand in the early weeks. According to DigiTimes,
In order to significantly increase its shipments in the third quarter, Apple has been piling up its inventory of iPad 2 components such as panels in the second quarter to minimize the risk of facing component shortages.
However, the sources were not revealed by DigiTImes and they marked them as market watchers. What do you think about this? Will Apple be able to meet the ever increasing demand of its tablet, since there are rumors roaming all over the internet about the upcoming iPhone 5?
