nice review, thanks foe sharing. While the laptop might look good, the slightest touch will get smudge and fingerprint marks all over the shell of the laptop
The performance of toshiba satellite p505 does not satisfy hard core gamers. This laptop doesn’t have Wireless display or Blu-ray optical drive for this price point. Toshiba Satellite p505 does have a slot loading DVD writer and the 14 inch display too is pretty bright. The Harmon Kardon speakers on this laptop have superb sound quality. Such excellent sounding speakers are quite rare in laptops. Mostly, laptop speakers have tinny speakers which give awful sound quality. Check out this laptop if you are going to listen to a lot of music. I was impressed by the simulated surround sound.

I am looking for a laptop to used. This will be added to my choices. Thanks for this.
That is quite pretty cheap! Hope I could get this kind of laptop as cheap as it is in our country.
LCD is better then CRT’s… LCD give us a k0ol and amazing result than CRT.. and also LCD saved over electricity..

Really cormfortable keyboard, touchpad very functional. The size is perfect and feels the weight just taking into account the characteristics of desktop replacement and capacity. It has a very powerful processor and decent video. The only exception is on the screen. Although the 1920P resolution is great, the blacks seem to wash quickly when the screen is not perfectly perpendicular. However, I would recommend this PC.

This Laptop has Horrible Sound are all of you joking? I have had this for awhile and sound was the issue from the beggining. It cannot handle And games that have decent 3D. Fallout 3=Freezes. Call Of Duty= Freezes. The Laptop also has a horrible layout for the media buttons. Over all, not worth the money. if your going to drop a grand, get more bang for your buck.
You has done a great work. I appreciate your work.I am highly oblige for this because it helps me a lot.
Oh great, maybe i should try.
I just purchased this computer two days ago, so I may update this in the future. My previous laptop was a Dell Inspiron 15.6″ core 2 duo. I wanted more RAM to do some non-pro video editing, and an update to one of the newer processors, and I wanted a 17.3″ screen. In the end, I had to decide what was more important to me – a larger, good quality screen or a processor that was probably faster than I needed, but wouldn’t be obsolete for a good while – i.e a 15.6″ i5 or a 17.3″ i3. I went with the latter, and I’m definitely not sorry so far. The picture quality of the screen on this computer is gorgeous – crisp, clear and sharp, and well-lit. The keyboard has nice big keys, though they’re flat & I’d ideally prefer slightly raised, but I don’t think I’ll mind, since they’re so large. I won’t be using the number pad, but it’s nice to have if you are someone who will use it.See Here: Toshiba Satellite Laptop
Oh thanks, i appriciate that!
iTunes’ “genius” mixing app has actually gotten me back into buying albums. It’s pretty cool how it’s able to find good songs and mixes from entire albums, it was surprising at first.
