Car maker Audi released R8 supercar in 2007. But from 2012, the company decided to make a mild face-lift and a bit more to this car. The car attracted many customers. Keeping that in mind, Audi has made a new car called R8 V10 Plus which is similar to R8, but is far better than that.
Audi R8 V10 Plus is lighter and more powerful than the R8 V10. The standard R8 V10 car has a 525 horse power engine, but Audi R8 V10 Plus comes with 25 more horse power engine than standard V10 car, meaning 550 horse power engine. The car can have a 0 (zero) mph to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds and it can gain a max speed of 197 mph.
Audi has put standard bucket seats, CFRP elements (including the front spoiler lip and rear diffusor) and powerful ceramic brakes, delivering an improved power-to-weight ratio in this car. In fact, the R8 V10 Plus comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox which can work well in “manual” mode smoothly. Here’s the specification of Audi R8 V10 Plus at a glance.
Engine | 5.2-litre V10 |
Power | 550 bhp |
Torque | 390 lb. ft. |
0-62 mph | 3.5 seconds |
Top speed | 197 mph |
According to Audi, Audi R8 V10 Plus is “more of everything” and this car has harder suspension than the standard car and more “hard-core” handling.
The R8 V10 Plus manual transmission equipped car costs £125,810, while the S Tronic transmission equipped car costs £128,710. For more info about the car, hit the source link below.
