When Facebook acquired Instagram for a whopping billion dollars, many of us kept wondering that why on Earth would the social network pay such a hefty sum for a photo sharing service. However, when Facebook later stated its ambition to be successful across the mobile platform, it was understandable since Instagram has been a huge success on the mobile devices. A recent development suggests, Facebook might have started to utilize the Instagram know-how in their (Facebook’s) products already. KDE has launched a Partner Network for its Vivaldi tablet, the first ever KDE powered tablet. The Vivaldi tablet is a 7-inch tablet which will run on Mer Linux or KDE Plasma Active with an ARM-based processor. This tablet will be shipped from the next month for around €200 (~$314.74). The company did not announce the US price yet. Unfortunately, the company does not accept the pre-orders at this time.

IHS iSuppli has predicted in its Storage Space Market Brief report that during the five years from 2011 to 2016 maximum capacity in hard disk drives (HDD) will more than double. Storage giant Seagate also predicted earlier that it will be possible to make 60TB hard drive by 2016, where laptop’s hard drives could reach 10TB to 20TB at the same time frame.
Most of the Windows Phone users are already updated to version 7.5 of the firmware. However, for those who haven’t update to the version yet, Microsoft has now made it essential that they must update to 7.5 if they wish to access the Marketplace. Starting today, such users who haven’t updated yet won’t be able to access the Marketplace.

In April 2012, Nokia proudly announced that Lumia 610 would be able to run the Windows Phone version of Skype. Later on, Skype announced that it won’t support Skype for Windows Phone on devices with 256MB RAM.
