Samsung Introduces Android 4.1 Powerded 16 MP Galaxy Camera With 21x Optical Zoom

Korean electronic giant Samsung has introduced a “Galaxy Camera” that runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Basically, it is not only a camera but also a smartphone, because this camera has a micro-SIM card slot too. The mixture of camera and smartphone has made this product unique. The LCD display of the camera-cum-phone is measured 4.8-inch. The company has used 16-megapixel backside-illuminated sensor that ensures quality picture.


Samsung Galaxy Camera

The Samsung Galaxy Camera is equipped with a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G wireless connectivity, 21x optical zoom. The camera does not support SD card, you will have to use microSD card for removable storage. The company has used scLCD technology for display, that supports resolution up to 1280 x 720 resolution, and has a 308ppi pixel density.

The camera’s software automation gives you Smart Pro modes. Its special design helps you to take pictures in professional-style. Its Smart Content Manager can automatically create folders and tag faces, even suggest you to delete bad shots. You can also search people’s faces, time, location and photo data.

The Samsung Galaxy Camera will be available in the fourth quarter of this year. There is no word about pricing.
