14 New Dual-Core Ivy Bridge Processor Details From Intel

Earlier toady Engadget reported about 14 new dual-core processors from Intel. The processors are based on the company’s new Ivy Bridge architecture. The details came out just a week before the much anticipated Computex technology show in Taipei. The new Ivy Bridge processors are all in Core i5 and Core i7 genre, and includes both desktop and mobile CPUs.

According to Engadget the new Ivy Bridge based Core i5 and Core i7 processors will be the first to ship this year. Processors from Core i3 series along with Pentium and Celeron will be launched later this year.

Among the 14 dual-core processors revealed, 6 are desktop processors and the rest are mobile ones. Out of the 8 mobile processors 4 are ULV based models and will be denoted with an additional U at the end of their name. The CPU base frequency range of the processors is reported to be 1.70 GHz to 3.40 GHz, and price range is $181 to $346. You can find the details about the new CPUs below.
