[IFA 2012] Samsung Introduces World’s First Windows Phone 8 Smartphone

Yesterday, we have reported that Samsung’s first Windows phone 8 device may be the “ATIV S” that has been true. Samsung has officially reveled its details with image. The source, CNET, has claimed that ATIV S is the world’s first Windows phone 8 device as well as world’s first dual-core Windows Phone.

Samsung ATIV S is equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera that has autofocus and an LED flash, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, a microSD card slot and NFC.

The company has used a very large 2300mAh battery that ensures long time support. Initially, 16GB and 32GB storage versions will be available that will support Samsung apps such as Music Hub and Media Hub. This service is only for US users.
