Nintendo are releasing a new colour variant for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan, the Flare Red and it will be released on July 14th, alongside the release of Star Fox 64 3D. Nintendo are also introducing a new Wii package in Japan, consisting of two Wii Remote Plus controllers instead of one and the new Wii package will remain the same as the existing one, and Wii Sports Resort will continue to be included in it…………
Nintendo has just announced that they will release a brand new colour in Japan alongside the launch of Star Fox 64 3D on July 14th. The ‘Flare Red‘ variation will be, unsurprisingly, red and has been shown off at events before in the past but now consumers will actually be able to purchase it as of next month. This should hopefully please Level-5’s prsident Akihiro Hino who tweeted that he was disappointed no colour variations were shown during the conference. No word yet as to when it will be released in Europe. Nintendo is also planning to unleash a new Wii bundle on June 23rd, which will package two Wii Remote Plus controllers with Wii Sports Resort software, for ¥20,000 (around $250).
