Sony Reveals The Top Ten Most Platinum’d PS3 Games

A Platinum trophy is awarded to a player in a game when he unlocks all the trophies offered in this game. In a way, it is the indication of the overall win for the player. Sony has now released a list of top ten PS3 games which have been Platinum’d most often by the gamers. The game that sits at the top of the list is Assassin’s Creed II.

One possibility for a game who offers most Platinum trophies is that the game play is easy. But another possibility is that the interest of the users is so much that they want to play it till the end and bag the Platinum trophy at all costs.

In the list of top ten most Platinum’d trophies released by Sony, Assassin’s Creed II comes out on top, showing that maximum users have been able to achieve the Platinum trophy on it. The second position on the list was grabbed by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

A number of other well-known games were also among the top ten titles. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves secured the third spot while God of War appeared on the 5th position in the list. Other games that made it the list include inFamous, UnCharted: Drake’s Fortune, the Sly Clooper collection and the God of War HD collection.

Although the list was genuinely reached upon according to the Platinum trophies offered by the games, it did contains a number of PS3 exclusives. Among the very few that weren’t PS3 exclusives were Resident Evil 5 and Borderlands. According to Sony’s social media manager, “I think this is why you see Assassin’s Creed II on this list, and not AC: Brotherhood, which introduced Multiplayer to the series (and associates 10 Trophies with this mode, many of which are tough to get). Take note, developers.”
