Microsoft’s Xbox One To Be Released On November 22

Microsoft’s Xbox One, the newest video game console will be available in stores on November 22. Microsoft announced Wednesday in an event and also announced the next-generation video game console will cost $499.99 and is available for pre-order at the Microsoft store and other retailers like Amazon Online store.

The console’s new features added: voice command, cloud integration, universal gestures and the familiar Xbox Live home screen. “The Xbox One CPU’s processing power will be increased to 1.75 GHz, which is about 10 percent increase from its original specs”, says Yusuf Mehdi, the Vice President of Marketing, Strategy, and Business for Xbox, on Xbox’s blog.

The Launch include many games, like “Call of Duty: Ghosts,” “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag,” and “Battlefield 4“. A company spokesperson told Reuters that retail stores have sold out of pre-orders for the Xbox One in many markets already. In the beginning Xbox One will be available in 13 countries, including Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the UK, U.S. and New Zealand. And Xbox One is preparing it’s way to other countries such as Russia and Sweden in the next year, due to delays related to language software.

On the other side Sony PlayStation 4 is to be released on November 15. Although that has not been confirmed by Sony itself, but there have been rumors that the CPU’s processing power could be increased at 2.75 GHz.

While the Xbox One costs more than the PlayStation 4 by $100. The Xbox One’s $500 price tag includes a Kinect motion tracking setup, however the PlayStation 4’s camera is sold separately from the system.
