Bang With Friends App Removed From App Store

Bang With Friends has gained a lot of traction in recent months. The app, as the name suggests, lets people connected over social networks to express their lust for each other and then see if they agree to make it real. Interestingly, Apple has removed the app from its App Store after approving it just days ago.

Bang with friends

BWF has become wildly popular, especially among the youth on social networks. The app has been around for less than a year and has already attracted a user base of 1 million. The key feature of the app, which has been able to entice such a huge audience, is simply that it provides the cover of anonymity while a person expresses his/her desire to hook up with another.

In simpler terms, it is really a matchmaking website but with a spicier name. So it’s hard to discern as to why Apple has decided to remove it from the App Store.

The link to the iPhone app of BWF currently displays the message, “The items you’ve requested is not currently available in the U.S. store.” The web page of the app, which also featured the iPhone app, currently states, “Be right back. We’re working with Apple to get BWF back into the App Store shortly.”

The team behind the app also seems clueless as to why Apple decided to drop the axe on BWF. According to a spokesperson, “We’re working with Apple to figure out exactly why.” In the past too, Apple has taken out a number of apps which have “explicit” connotations, although a matchmaking website doesn’t seem inappropriate by any stretch of imagination.
