Novato, California – 7twenty7 LLC has announced the release of “Stencils – Draw & Design!”, an App that enables users to create high-quality artwork on their iPhone and iPod touch devices, no matter what their artistic ability is. The App leverages a large stencil library with precise multitouch controls to unleash anyone’s creativity.

The Stencils App comes with a built-in library of over 100 stencil shapes in 10 categories. Users are able to easily navigate the library of stencils, then place them over a canvas for painting. Utilizing iOS’s multitouch capabilities, the user can position, scale, and rotate the stencil precisely. A large color palette and multiple brushes are available to color in each stencil.

Other features include multi-level undo, the ability to open a photo to paint directly on, and the option to save or email the creation directly from the App. Stencils has also been fully enhanced for the high-resolution Retina Display of the iPhone 4 and new 4th generation iPod touch.

The large stencil library includes over 100 shapes in the following categories: Basic Shapes, Animals, Plants & Trees, Weather, Vehicles, People, Designs, and Dress-up. In addition, stencils are available for all 26 letters of the alphabet and all 10 digits.

Stencils is the follow up to 7twenty7’s iPhone and iPod touch hit, SpinArt.
